Our Resort Policies are put in place to protect the safety and well-being of all.

ByĀ making a reservation and staying with us, you agree to abide by the following resort rules and policies:

HTP Resort Policies

HTP Resort Policies:

  • Quiet hours are from 11:00pm – 7:00am and are enforced by our staff. Please be courteous to other guests staying throughout the resort.
  • Please respect the privacy of other guests. Do not walk through occupied campsites!
  • Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children.
  • The speed limit throughout the resort isĀ 5mph.
  • Golf Cart drivers must be at least 21 years of age. No riding after midnight.
  • Helmets are required for children under the age of 16.
  • Please do not ride electric scooters inside the campground.
  • Please do not ride skateboards, bicycles, or scooters after dark.
  • Do not leave coolers and/or alcoholic beveragesĀ outside overnight.
  • We are not liable for any theft or injuries that may occur during your stay.
  • Underage drinking is prohibited throughout the resort and on the beach. Police patrol both areas throughout the day and night.
  • Washing of vehicles and boats inside the campground is prohibited.
  • Fireworks & firearms are prohibited.
  • Pets are not allowed in the Resort Office, Laundry Room, Bathhouses, Pool Area, Arcade, etc.
  • Please do not destroy or walk on the sand dunes or natural vegetation. Use the walkways to and from the beach.

Reservation Policies:

  • To avoid some frustrations, please make sure that you understand ourĀ Cancellation Policy, Pet Policy, and Visitor Policy before finalizing any reservations. Head on over to our Camping Reservations Page to view these 3 important policies.
  • Prices subject to change without notice.
  • Reservations are made for specific sites and although it rarely happens, we reserve the right to move a reservation to another site at any point in time.
  • No refunds due to Mother Nature (unless there is a mandatory evacuation of the island).

Campsite Rules

Campsite Rules

  • GAS HOT WATER HEATERS ONLY PLEASE!
  • 2′ x 3′Ā doormats or 5′ x 7′ breathable air mats only, NO RUGS!
  • You are required to use either a Sponge/Rubber Sewer Ring or an E-Z Coupler for all sewer hookups.
  • Do not leave coolers and/or alcoholic beveragesĀ outside overnight.
  • Please do not place wet clothes or towels on the fences, trees, walls, etc.
  • Please keep your campsite clean and free of trash! We try extremely hard to maintain a clean campgroundĀ and your help is greatly appreciated.
  • Boats must be parked in the maintenance or storage area. They are not considered your 2nd vehicle.
Golf Cart Rules

Golf Cart Rules

  • Gas and electric golf carts are allowed at The Holiday Trav-L-Park Resort.
  • All golf carts must have a valid parking pass in order to enter the campground and park on the premises. Passes can be obtained in the Resort Office.
  • Golf Cart Passes areĀ $5.00 per day, $20.00 for the week, or $50.00 for the season.
  • If you bring your own golf cart, we require proof of insurance at the time of check-in. We will make a copy to have for our records. No proof of insurance is required for rented golf carts.

Pool Rules

Pool Rules:

  • The pool is open from 9:00am10:00pm.
  • Swim at your own risk. There is no life guard on duty.
  • Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children.
  • No pets allowed in the pool area.
  • Smoking isĀ not allowed inside the pool area.
  • Glass bottles are not allowed inside the pool area.
Trash & Garbage Disposal Rules

Trash & Garbage Disposal Rules:

  • Please useĀ the recycling bins located throughout the park near the Bathhouses and Dump Station.
  • Please leave your trash beside the road at your campsite beforeĀ our (2) trash runs. Trash will be picked up at 9:00am and again at 4:00pm.
  • Please do not leave trash outside on your campsite after 5:00pm! Cats, birds, raccoons, and possums will make a huge mess of things if you do.
  • We are not responsible for disposing of: grills, mattresses, refrigerators, bicycles, tables, beach chairs, empty paint cans, etc. If you need to dispose of these items, take them to the county dumpsite at the corner of HWY 58 North and West Firetower Road.
