One of the nicest we've ever stayed at. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons - #1) The resort charges $10/per day if you bring a pet, yes this is in the pet policy, However, I did initially overlook it as all the campgrounds we've stayed at over the years typically have the same policy, keep the pet on a leash and clean up after them. I have never paid that much to keep my own dog in my own camper that I clean up after. It amused me that the doggie waste bag area said "complimentary waste bags" I really don't think so. The most I've ever been charged is a small flat fee for the entire stay to cover the cost of doggie bags. The nightly fees charged at this resort are well above normal rates elsewhere, this should include bringing your pet. I would recommend this, if management feels they must charge this pet fee, there should at least be a dog park and a dog bathing area. #2) the permanent residents at the end of our campsite gathered daily and were quite loud and we heard a lot of vulgar language. The campground is beautiful and is immaculately kept. Staff was very friendly. LOVE the location. We went for a walk on the beach every morning. It really is a gorgeous campground.
