This place was awesome. This was our first visit to the area. The only thing I wish that can be changed is the parking. We had a hard time getting out of the park because of all the vehicles parked next to the road. If it wasn’t for an empty space we wouldn’t have gotten out. Other than the parking issue the park was great. The staff at the office and the workers in the park were very nice and helpful. We’ll definitely be going back.

We like Emerald Isle and wanted to do a camping resort vacation there and find this place. Later we learned it is the only camping resort on the island. Nonetheless, it didn't test on its laurels, the grounds were in great condition, the bathrooms were very clean thanks to the key policy that helps limit public beach goers from using them, and access to the beach was excellent. The rates are very good considering the lack of competition. For our first time there we were very happy and hope to make a trip again next summer.

Easy to find, helpful, friendly staff, nice grassy sites, but they are pretty close together. Bath houses were very clean and nice, AC worked too well! I loved the ramps to the beach, never climbed the stairs to the beach snack bar. Pool was large and clean with good lounges and nice shady spots. Go cart track looked fun, recreation hall was closed for remodeling. Camp store is very limited.

So happy with our stay!! The campground was clean and well-kept the beach was very nice there was fun activities planned for the kids. I do wish they used ice in the pool overnight or something to cool it off as it was warmer than bath water but we are also there during heat wave so I kind of understand this as well.
